Adventure Time is the one of the best animated shows in this generation

**spoiler warning** Adventure Time was and still is a fascinating experience. Finn and Jake's adventures through the land of Ooo is so fun to watch (even if the romance isn't the most appealing) and the show grows naturally over the span of its many seasons. You grow up with Finn, from his first childlike infatuation with Princess Bubblegum to losing Jake and his grief over his best friend. The Ice King is also such a deep character, a portrayal of severe mental illness in an unexpected manner. It's heartbreaking to see how Marceline reacts to the Ice King as well, as Simon raised her after the Great Mushroom War. The development of Bubblegum and Marceline's relationship is also such a lovely piece of representation that I loved to see :)
