first impressions

i found this website on tiktok, as i'm sure most of you did, and it's really piqued my interest. it blatantly feeds off of nostalgia, but what's more intriguing is that its user base (myself included) was hardly around to have the experiences that it should be nostalgic of. myspace came out in 2003, i wasn't born until 2005 and i didn't truly have unrestricted internet access until about 2018. anyhow, i still find this fun, figuring out the layout customization has just about consumed my weekend. here's to hoping i haven't joined a breeding ground for incels!
