My day in Loiza

This morning I woke up at 11am, not realizing it was so late and my mom had planned for us to go to the beach earlier that morning. However, I had to get some cleaning done. So I got up cleaned up the house with my brother and then headed to the beach. We decided to try out a beach in Loiza which is about thirty minutes from where we live in Guaynabo. The beach we chose was Playa Pinones. As you drive up to it there are many cars parked up in the sanded parking lot, and all the way up the road. It was where most people were hanging out and we wanted more of a chill time so we headed further down the road. Looking up and down each side of the road to find the perfect "secluded" spot. We found one that was sort of in the sand and under some trees. This is where we decided to get out and put all of our stuff. Our favorite thing to use at the beach is our "blanket" which we got off Amazon and it is this perfect material for the sand and you use these stakes to make sure it stays on the ground. After setting up our little area, we obviously wanted to get into the water and as I was taking off my overskirt, I look over and my moms face is in awe. So as one should I proceed to ask "what's up". My mother forgot to put a bathing suit on! We were laughing so hard. She had been only home for a few minutes before we left for the beach (she had been grocery shopping while my brother and I were cleaning) and she had totally forgotten to change. Once that whole ordeal happened we decided to just walk the beach and maybe find some seaglass ( we lucked out on that). While walking we did see some little crabs and odd looking shells or animals we were not really sure on what they were. The rest of the time at the beach was just relaxing, reading books, taking pictures and so fourth. Around 5pm we decided to pack up and drive even further down where there were local restaurants and little "kiosks". These are some of my favorite places to go and I got a few pollo pinchos with pan. There was a boardwalk area so we decided to walk down that and it was gorgeous. On the walk back to the car we got some tres leches to share and then headed on home.

(this is very boring without pictures so if anyone knows how to upload them unto here pls let me know) (oh and how to like down size the pictures lol)
