i just bought it 2 days ago bc of the sale and jesus christ im addicted to it. i had a feeling i would be since i love the binding of isaac but wow! the story is cool, the character designs are fucking cool, and everyone in the game is indeed hot, as everyone said they were. lol
anyways, im on my 29th run now i think (just reached hades but i died on his second form :P), and it seems like boons from athena, hermes, dionysus and zeus are what im gravitating to the most. anyone got tips or just stuff to say about the game?

yes i got hades a while back, it's a super fun game!! on my 20-somethingth run I think (i don't remember) I got all the way up to hades, but I was low on health because I insisted on exploring everything where Cerberus was so I got knocked out basically immediately lol. I agree with you, the boons from athena, zeus and dionysus are pretty useful, I like the ones from dionysus that inflict hangover a lot because you can hit stuff and then run away and it's still effective. I also really like Persephone's boons as well, because they're so ridiculously overpowered at higher levels, and they pair really well with Dionysus boons, even if the relationship between the two gods in-game is unclear to me. Um my only advice is on those ones where you walk into the chamber and hades fills the room with enemies, don't try to fight any of them, just dash around and avoid traps until the level ends because it can hurt you more than it helps trying to fight through those rooms. also, if there's a room where it shows two boons as the outcome, do not go in there!! You have to choose between the two, and you'll end up hurting your relationship with the one you don't choose, especially with Persephone. She's very jealous.
