Vin diesel : “Family” (a rant)

Idk if it’s just me but I’ve always hated the idea that just because they are you’re family that means you have to endure all kinds of abuse. “But he’s your dad!” So? And I’m his daughter, lmao why don’t you let him face the consequences of his actions instead of pressuring me to see him just because not having a relationship with me “makes him sad”. Its so pathetic. He’s the text book definition of an abusive gaslighting narcissist and I refuse to fuel the flame everyone else is just to keep him at bay. Lol I’m my fathers daughter, if he’s gonna traumatize me it’s time I do it back. Givem the ol’ uno reverse card <3. Anyways usually families that do this love to use the whole “blood is thicker than water.” Which I find funny because they’re using the term wrong. The whole thing goes “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” LITERALLY SAYING friends are stronger than family.
