A Poem

Hey everyone, I wrote this poem when I was going through a very rough patch (still am, but slowly but surely getting better!) I want to share it with you all so you know that I'm here if you need someone to listen to you, you're never alone.

This poem is called "The Symphony".

My mind torments me every day

It will be alright, I am told

But my fears are here to stay

And they will swallow me whole.

I might go outside and smell the rose

And enjoy what there is to see

But I sulk and I propose

That the sun does not shine for me.

I lay awake in bed today,

And I hear the cars rumble

Knowing that if I whisk away,

I will fall into eternal slumber.

Some might say life is sweet, life is long

But you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
