Something I've noticed that is pleasantly unlike what I was used to on old school Myspace circa 2006-09: the presence of adults making very clear that they will not be using this platform to talk to minors. I don't remember that ever being a thing when we were originally using Myspace. In fact, I remember it being completely unmoderated. I mean, this was BOTDF pre-callout times. This was Myspace circa "11-year-old Jessi Slaughter telling everyone that they were being assaulted by Dahvie Vanity and nobody being fazed by it".
It should be thrilling and delightful that we have come this far as a society.
And, yes, if you are an adult who adds minors, consider this an open admission of how big a disappointment you are.
