That one time I went ghost hunting at my grandparents house

This happened two years ago!

So two years ago I started to get really interested in all of this supernatural things so I thought it was a good idea to go ghost hunting! 

(Spoiler alert: it wasn't as fun as it seemed) 

To put you into context my grandparents house isn't that old but for some reason weird things happen every once in awhile, things like shadows, things appearing in places they shouldn't and things like that

If I remember correctly that day my grandparents and my parents went out for a few hours to buy things and some food, I saw the opportunity to use my "knowledge" to see why all those things happened in that house but please don't think I actually did something, I was just some random kid walking around a house with the lights off saying things like "Show yourself" "I'm not scared of you" "Can I help you with anything?" So yeah, this continued for like half an hour until I heard something in the kitchen (I was in the living room) and I hesitated to go because let's face it, if that was a ghost, a serial killer or an animal;  12yr me probably wouldn't be able to do anything to defend himself but I was a really curious child so I went to the kitchen and I just I stood there doing nothing for like 5 minutes, at that point I just thought it wasn't nothing and that I should probably turn the lights on before anyone came home but before I could I heard that same sound again and here I could invent the story and say I went and saw something scary but that's not the case, 12yrl me rushed to the living room screaming, terrified and turned the lights as fast as he could

Till this day I don't know what that sound was but I'm pretty sure I was alone so yeah
