Gatekeeping is dumb. I mean like really dumb. Why the fuck are you so worried about me liking the same thing as you. I've talked to somebody who was mad that someone "brought' girl in red to tiktok. GIRL IN RED HAS 11,943,112 LISTNERS ON SPOTIFIY!!! Also actually small artists need the exposure that social media can get them regardless the platform so WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KEEP THEM SMALL?? It's not fair to the artists when they need the support and money. Overall just stfu and let people enjoy things.
