music i've liked recently

here's a quick post with some of my favorite songs and albums recently to make up for how inactive i am on here--- feel free to drop some of your favorite music in the comments so i can check it out! :D

1. macroblank - 行方不明

i just found this album today, but the nostalgic vibes are on point, i really like it! it feels like walking through an unfamiliar town while waiting for the next train to come. i originally was going to listen to it while doing schoolwork, but got too emotional and decided to draw instead. i'm not the sort of person who cries easily but chill music does it for me, i guess

2. julie - flutter

this song absolutely rocks. same as above, the weird nostalgic feeling that brings up memories i don't actually have. a little less chill than the previous album, but in a weird muted way that also makes me want to sit down and cry for a bit

3. righeira - no tengo diner

and now, in a complete tone shift, a classic! i was actually introduced to this one via the neighbor's three year old kid i baby sit, he's got an abolutely amazing music taste lol. found the music video recently and now i like it even more! this is one of the songs i listen to in the morning, nice and up-beat to start the day off right!

4. alex g - mary

okay okay back to sad songs >:D this song is also an absolute banger nostalgia and a weird pressure on your forehead? idk bro this song makes me feel things

5. twinkle park  - touch or been touched by

i am legally obligated to put at least one twinkle park song on this list, this is a pretty short album but all the songs r bangers so it doesn't matter! while it scratches that weird wistful part of my brain, it doesn't make me sad like the other ones, so it gets played a lot more. definitely check out the rest of hazel's music and her video essays, i absolutely love her stuff!!

aaand that's it for now. while i definitely used the word "nostalgic" way too many times and don't know how to properly describe music, this was fun! might make a music rec post every couple weeks or smthn. again, leave ur own music recs in the comment, i'm always looking for new stuff to listen to!
