Born+raised in California (SoCal to be exact, central & NorCal are completely different tbh) and it's not bad? I grew up in a small-ish city, but feel like they're always working on something. There's wild donkeys & coyotes....our one claim to fame lol I've lived in Vegas & Connecticut before though.

imo north carolina is great but is very empty and is constantly being worked on like theres this one highway they've been building for 8 plus years its ridiculous
damn so empty as in not much to do or?
