I heavily agree sosososo much with this blog. I wanna buy some so badly but i'm broke ☆:.｡.o(≧▽≦)o.｡.:☆
honestly i know aliexpress is bad... but ive bought alot of accessories from there. ive got my cuffs from there, my belts, earmuffs, but the best place is thrift stores. even tho its super hard to find rare cute stuff, go everywhere. especially the richer areas because they dump all their old stuff there and u never know what u might find! depop too, but its hard with mean sellers

I’ve been wanting to go to a rich-side thrift store because of that reason! I usually get my clothes hand me down or the mall. I just try my best to renovate and recycle stuff. Tbh I don’t judge you at all because female trendy clothes are sort of expensive and things tend to be a bit pricey because of the inflation all around. You can’t find good stuff unless you pay extra money especially if you’re plus size *ahem* fat tax. Most of the time, it turns it into a difficult relationship with shopping when it’s catered at such a high price. I genuinely hate that consumerism bs and that goes hand in hand with capitalism so it’s like grrrrr. But hey, when a girl wants to be cutie and finds a chance for something cute and affordable, you gotta take advantage of it. You can’t really get out of this sort of supply and demand anytime and all of the stores around us probably has some shit on them that we shouldn’t support but we don’t know. And if we did know, how could we actually get stuff in general? So you might as well look cute by doing what you just said. I just avoid dollskill because of the blatant racism and stealing from small artists. If I could shoplift from big shops, I would and go thrifting in fancy places ;p I do support thrifting as long as you don’t steal kids clothes since we gotta be mindful to those who are in need ofc. It just seems like every product we want to obtain has more than a economical price ya know?

NO IMG IM GLAD U ELABORATED TYPE AS MUCH AS U WANT. but i completely agree with you. as much as im not a big rich wealthy person, i also try and buy from smaller designer brands even tho some are pricey (danielle guizio is my favourite designer ever, i have 2 corsets and a jumper but it did cost me quite a bit) but i would much rather her get my money then shein!!!! i hate seeing girls do big shein halls then go 'ur girl is on a budget'- go shop somewhere else if ur spending $400+ on shein clothes just to say ur on a budget it gets me so mad!!!!

Omg we are besties now because you somehow agree ith my correlation of fashion being affected in the lines of politics. Smart fashion babes talk about important economical issues in shopping. Anyways, I agree. I agree with your statement whole heartidly and my sister does shop there, therefore, I get the handmedown clothes. One big pet peeve of mine is that those same people who spend $400 on those hauls end up donating them (which is a good cause) but because once again, trendy clothes, thrifting becomes expensive to those in need and then depop bitches run with it by taking off the tags and reselling them like UGH. It sucks too because shein is good with sizing but suck with quality and therefore it can't be entirely reliable. I shop a bit at target and walmart too for stockings and acessories (and halloween stores when it comes around). I don't think shopping at shein is TOO bad but people should def take responsibility and try to see which trendy clothes actually suit them. Have you seen that "selling stuff the alt trend" bs?? That's like a PRIME example of what I was complaining about earlier. People buy things, waste money, increase prices and change their minds which hurts the fashion community AND the poor. LIKE WTFF?
