I have no idea how blogs work, I've never had one, so I'm just gonna talk about my day.
I just cam back from the theatre, I watched a rendition of 'Josephine'.
About the life of this French entertainer and activist called Josephine Baker, an amazing woman honestly. The bit that surprised me the most was her role in WW2 as a secret service agent for France. She smuggled in information in her sheet music with invisible ink!
A genius idea honestly.
The play was so good, it had a wonderful blend of both drama/realism mixed with more lighter aspects of her life. It's a pretty short play and if you ever have an opportunity to watch it, I recommend it to you :)
What an amazing black woman, and what an amazing play about her life!
