The Magisterium

The Magisterium is about a boy named Callum hunt, and his father hates magic. Always has, always will, and he never explains why.
Cal has been disabled since he was a baby, and because of that he is outcasted. He naturally keeps to himself, but sometimes he acts out.
You see, magicians exist in Callum's world, and his father has always told him that they are horrible blood thirsty people. Due to this, when Cal has to take a trial to get in, his father tells him to fail as much as possible.
He does. Very well. Very well to the point that the school takes him in because it would be a danger if they didn't.
From there the best series I have ever read takes place.
There is action, adventure, so many twists and turns, and a truly mesmerizing series.
When I finished it I was heartbroken.
I highly recommend it. Started reading it at 11, still love it at 16.
