Amy Winehouse/Aaliyah/Fiona Apple

It's been 10 years as of today since we lost the effervescent, Amy Winehouse. I cannot believe that much time has gone. I could write 400 pages about my love for everything Amy Winehouse but I'll keep it short because I'm crunched for time right now. I am playing "Help Yourself" from her 2003 debut album, Frank, and it is taking me back to another time and place. I still remember hearing about her death at work when I was working as a cashier at OfficeMax. It had also been 10 years at that time since my favorite artists of all-time, Aaliyah, had also tragically passed away. My love for them will carry on for life...I just cannot believe she's already been gone for this long and 20 years next month for Aaliyah. 

Today also marks 25 years since "Tidal" by Fiona Apple came out. It's quite a significant day for some of my biggest idols. It's a weird combination of my love for them, still being in disbelief that Amy and Aaliyah gone and being absolutely FUCKED about how 10 and 20 years has flown by. Where does life go?
