OKAY
I have a friend, we’re gonna call her Sanrio because she loves Sanrio.
My friend, Sanrio, is a black woman and she’s very proud of it.
Well, this teacher is as white as white can be.
Sanrio is a really loud person, she’s super friendly, talkative, energetic, and sometimes doesn’t do her work at the right time but she still gets it done, you know? She’s very much so a social butterfly with no filter
Sanrio was talking to her friend, and she was not completely focused on her work. The teacher comes up behind her and says “Sanrio, don’t make me be a slave driver.”
(slave driver - a person who oversees and urges on slaves at work.)

So Sanrio is pissed off and goes “You just called a black woman a slave”
and the teacher starts fumbling to defend herself and starts saying stuff like “oh it’s an old saying” and “oh I didn’t mean it that way”
But Sanrio isn’t having any of it and tells her counselor about the situation, but she doesn’t do anything. The only thing Sanrio gets talked to about is her grades because the counselor just shoves the important topic to the side???
It’s fucked up and it upsets me so much

What the actual fuck, if the coucler doesnt want to listen mabye try telling a different teacher? mabye theres a teacher of color or a teacher yall are comftreble with. if not then idk, but thats fucked up fr fr
also send love and suport from me to sanrio, dealing with racist teachers is annoying and stupid idk why some peoipelk think they can just do and say ceirtan stuff
