Studio Ghibli Rant :p

I'm not sure if its the art, the actually stories themselves or just my bad habit of getting to attached to fictional stories but every studio Ghibli movie i've ever watched has made me cry :,) The movies are always so beautiful and are really true master pieces ranked in their own league but I just don't understand why I always cry so hard. I mean I just got done watching The Cat Returns and I bailed my eyes out like their was no tmr. It wasn't a sad movie AT ALL and it actually had a very happy ending but at the same time it was the ending that got me. The fact that all studio Ghibli movies end in a manner in which they leave it up to the audiences imagination to continue the story on hurtssss. I love that they end movies w the characters living happily ever after but I feel like there's always so many holes they never fill in and I just so deeply desire an ending in which they fill in the holes and show just how the characters go on w their lives. I think I just get to attached and invested as if I'm living in this world along w the characters and I feel left out when I don't get to see their lives play out fully. Oh well, I'll prolly be watching another movie tmr just to bail my eyes out again but I will say it's always worth the watch bc of how pure and wholesome all these movies are. Anyways that's the end of my little rant abt my emotional ass but moral of the story, go watch a studio Ghibli movie :3
