Pronouns and Anonymity

Hello,

Just to give myself more of an introduction, I'm going to be explaining my gender identity and why I'm anonymous.

For starters, I go by "He/They" pronouns at the moment. This may change at some point, especially since the "they" doesn't feel as right for me. I will keep you updated if this ever changes. I started realizing I was demiboy here recently because I have always identified as a masculine person. I used to identify as a cis-female, but "She/Her" didn't really feel as right with me. Being a "girl" always felt...wrong, I guess. I never fully identified with the male gender either. I thought that I was a trans boy for a while, but to be quite honest, I feel like I would just as confused and uncomfortable with myself. It wasn't until I learned about what a demiboy was, but I always thought that someone who was assigned male at birth was the only one who could identify as a "he/they." This was until I learned that anyone could be a demiboy, or demigirl, or demifluid. I then started to go with the demiboy idea because I felt like I could relate with it more.

Now, on to why I decide to hide my identity. There's a few reasons. For one, I just want to be known as someone who posts about bands and things like that. I'm less likely to get messaged by creeps or scammers if they don't know what I look like or know my real name. Not saying that I'm extremely attractive or anything, but creeps think anything is hot. Another reason is that I don't want people I work with or go to school with finding my accounts. Lord, if my friends knew that I ran an Instagram page that just obsessed over Andy Biersack's hands, that is just laughing material. I already have gotten made fun enough. Finally, I feel I can actually be true to who I am when I'm anonymous. I feel like I can give my honest opinion on things and not get called out. People on here don't know who I really am, so nothing really affects me personally.

Anyways, sorry for going on a tangent. I just feel like this is very important to add to my page. Thanks for listening.
