finally got the job I wanted for the last 4 years

For the past 4 years since I moved to the city I've been living close to a really fun musicl instruments store, I've been going there to look for a job almost every couple of months for the past 4 years and never had any luck.

A year ago a good friend of mine started working with that store as a brass instruments technician and he finally managed to pull me in!

I know what you're thinking "dude, chill, it's just a music store" but to get that kind of job here in Israel is next to impossible, there are very few music stores in this country and a ton of people looking to work in them, so just walking in and getting a job there even if you have a ton of experience like I do, is very very hard.

Today was my first day and I had a lot of fun and helped many people get instruments and solve problems.

The hours are great and it's just a 10 minutes walk from my house!

I hope things will continue to go well and I can keep working there.

Been unemployed for the past year and a half, I enjoyed it a lot and got a lot done, but money is getting really tight so this job couldn't come at a better time.

Being around music and artists all day long is very inspiring and I can't wait to get in my studio and make more music!
