sorry to jump at politics here but bro you can't seriously support communism right? my parents lived under communism and it was seriously traumatising

Yes, for realises a Communist. Sucks your parents didn't live in a country where they own their means of production. If they did, that would be socialism, of which communism cannot happen until said hurdle of socialism has been completed. Ppl in power can aspire to have a communist country, but if they over threw the government as a small political force without rallying the working class, and still don't give the means of productions to them having over thrown the government without their backing, then they tripped over the first hurdle in the race & they're finishing the race bleeding just, all over.

all I'm saying is that it's an unachievable utopian ideal and every time it has been tried it ended up in a dictatorship.

under communism, everyone is poor, and I honestly just can't supoirt it after hearing what my parents had to go through under the USSR's shiny staple of togetherness

The word you might be looking for is, authoritarian. Of which Communists do agree with you. Cause, little known fact among the left, socialism/communism isn't when the state owns the means of production. And thankfully, isn't compatible with a one person head of state, but loves democracy where fellow socialists/communists/anarchists are voted for positions in government.

Communism isn't "when no iphone", it's when "so much iphone, that iphones mean nothing anymore. The USSR didn't even jump over the first hurdle of socialism, Lenin acknowledges this because the state still owned the means of production at his death, and Stalin said "no, we're gonna keep it the way it is, not gonna give the means of production to a democratic society because then there goes all my power."

I get your point of view, my only issue is that it's a fairytale point of view. Any places that have tried a disorganised/anarchic government have ended up in crime, corruption and ruin, take for example Kowloon City.

Are unions or co-ops fairytales or utopian? Because they're both capitalist step downs of socialistic principles. Socialism is about the organization of the workplace, is isn't when the government does or doesn't do something, though the government can either support or oppose it, depending on who's in power. But a socialist revolution is going to make the government lean towards it, but socialists/communists/anarchists (especially) would want the government to be democratically/council run with unions having power in the government, so by no means disorganized. The way you're using the term "anarchic government", makes me believe you're unaware of the political views of anarchist? Does Kowloon City have something to do with the implementation socialism, because I found no mentions of socialism being discussed on websites about it.
