Harrassed in public for dressing different

Yesterday i was followed around town by sum teenagers and they made comments at me and laughed and made fun of me becoz of what i was wearing.

It made me feel really rubbish at the time... so much so that i cried all the way down the town highstreet :/
But upon reflection, everybody who stands out because of their fashion is gonna get criticism and hate at least once in their life because they look different, it just so happened to be that day for me. Not to mention, the people making judgements were ugly chavs who looked like clones of eachother. Thanks for saying my outfit is ugly, basic white boy number four. honestly man it looked like they had been pulled backwards through JD Sports... embarrassing!! So yah their opinion on fashion was intantly invalidated by the fact that they were obviously far too sheltered to have ever seen alternative fashion in their life... sucks 2 be them.

But yah in conclusion- if this has ever happened to you, or ever does in the future; dont let it stop you from being who you are or expressing yourself through the literal clothes that you put on your body. It sucks that people feel the need to comment, but dont let it bother you because at the end of the day, you look fly and you stand out from the crowd.
U are being true to yourself which is an absolute win and makes you super strong and brave and awesum. <3

I'm sorry that happened to you, people can be real dicks at times. But like you said, people will always try to pick on anything that stands out in order to reinforce their own overinflated ego. Alternative fashion is hella cool, the fact that you stand out is a great thing, it gets boring seeing all the wannabe roadman clones lol

I dress alternatively when I can, such as when I go out by myself (my mum would not allow me to dress differently if she was with me lol). I love wearing Japanese kimonos in which I accessorise to add a modern twist. I also love goth, gyaru, shironuri, kawaii, animecore and medicalcore styles too! Hopefully, if I get a place at university I can move away and dress however I want!
