Mac Plus repairs

So I came upon a mac plus a few months ago, upon bringing it home it seemed to work fine, the screen came on and the startup sound played but there was some fluctuation on the screen. Next day I plugged it in again and then suddenly the screen goes out and a loud hissing came from the computer and the whole room is filled with a burning smell. I've done my research and I'm pretty sure I have to replace the flyback transformer which shouldn't be too hard but I don't know if any flyback transformer will work or if I have to get my hands on one from a mac plus.
