The Color White

Anyone wonder why the color white is becoming more and more popular these days? We see it all over instagram. All over people's pages that have that aesthetic core vibe. Have you ever wondered why yoga has become more popular in Western culture these days? Because the yoga basics ring true to people's soul. I highly recommend everyone look into the 8 limbs of yoga. I didn't realize there was more to yoga than just the asana until I took my first yoga teacher training to become a certified yoga instructor. There's so much more to it. So back to the color white. If you've taken any sort of science class at all, you might have learned at some point that the color white isn't actually white at all. But rather, all the colors. White light comprises all hughs on the visible spectrum. So what does this have to do with yoga you may ask? Well, the deeper you get into researching yoga and what it comprises of, you'll learn that chakras are a thing. What is a chakra? It is an energy center in your body. We have 7 main chakras. Red(root-base of spine) orange (sacral- your internal sex organs) yellow (solar plexus- stomach area) green (heart- kind of a given where it's located) blue (throat- attached to the throat) indigo (third eye- between the eyes) violet (crown- top of the head) people like white because it helps align the chakras. Most of the time they don't realize this is why. But ever notice when you're in a room with that white aesthetic how it makes you feel- well- amazing? Your chakras are aligning because the white light bouncing off of it is emitting all hughs in the color wheel. Kind of a cool little fact. Highly recommend looking into the chakras on your own through research on the internet and in books. Other ways to alight your chakras are: -dancing/movement. Highly recommend conscious exercise like yoga or karate. -getting out in nature. -Doing art So get out there and align your chakras🤍
