(before reading): hey everybody!! it's fern here. just wanted to let you know i'm gonna be posting some of my poetry (in english and spanish) on here! i hope i don't come off as pretentious or attention seeker, i just want to have a place to read my poetry one day when i'm older hahah
besos perdidos
cuando todo terminó
sentí un vacío
y, aún cuando no te habías ido
ya empezaba a extrañarte.
y es que fui una cobarde,
al temer el poner a mi corazón en peligro
porque hay veces que debemos aguantar las llamas
para llegar al dulce frío
aún así, fue perfecto
aunque me arrepiento de no haber tomado tu mano
de no haberte aprovechado, un poquito más
en mis brazos
quizás la próxima vez
me atreva a cobrar los besos perdidos
