being feminine to me is being yourself as a woman is any way you wish. even if the style u use is considered masculine, you in yourself (if you identify) are as much of a woman as the girl who wears dresses. feminism shouldn't be the keeping up of the dainty, weak stereotype dictating how much of a woman you are but it should rather be about tearing down those stereotypes who were initially put there by insecure men who needed all the "toughness" for themselves and preferred the dainty woman who would succumb to all their abuse. as women, if we keep shaming these "non-dainty" women, it is setting ourselves back years because you are forgetting the end of the day goal of the feminism movement- to give woman the freedom to do and be as they please. so, if you actively shame these stereotype breaking women, YOU are the problem and we are fighting this fight in feminism against you too.

not sure about countries but here in the west I've actually seen quite the opposite, where traditional housewives (the type you describe as dainty) are stereotyped as weak and old fashioned. modern feminism should be about embracing all tyoes of womanhood, not just the strong female lead that is being pushed these days.

i completely agree i think my point was lost a bit there. honestly what i meant was no stereotypes or labels should be in place there should rather be just women being themselves individually. my post was critiscing the enforcers and shamers of stereotypes not the women who may express themselves in a either general stereotypical way.
