Summertime Sadness

"> Why is it that every summer I have nostalgia hit me hard and then I get depressed? Most of the best times of my childhood happened in the summer and I think that is what causes the nostalgia. There are certain songs, TV shows, and even movies that effect me. Just going swimming at our local pool gets the depression going. That is where my best friend and I always hung out. Her and I are still friends, but it all feels different. Like I'm afraid I'm going to mess it up again. When I was in high school, I had a ton of jealousy issues. One certain thing set me off and I was super mean to her for years. I'm lucky she even decided that she still wanted to be my friend. I'm not the same person at all that I used to be, thankfully. It just still hits me. Anyway, back to summertime. Does anyone else have these issues? It doesn't even have to occur in the summertime for you. It might even be a different time of year that sets yours off. Just need someone who understands what I am feeling. Hit me up with a message or comment.
