Music projects

I've been holding back a couple albums for a while, they just need to be put together and mixed, etc.

Malakai Beats - 2014 - 2019 - This is the main album for now.  Like the previous release in the series 2008-2013, this is a huge beat tape with a lot of random stuff, material no one's heard, and various instrumentals from the era.  

Malakai Beats - The Art of Koi Keeping - This album was out but I then realized I really hated the mixing on it so I decided to shelve it for a while.  I was trying too hard to make everything sound pristine.  But this is a Wu-Tang remix project, and it should sound more raw.  Scattered throughout the album are koi keeping snippets from YouTube.  It's being re-released as The Deluxe Edition featuring additional tracks.

Malakai Beats - Music For Boat Chases - I released a maxi-single for this.  The full length album is still coming out.

Malakai Beats - Victory Over Dampness Under Fire Part II - This is merely an idea right now but it will be a continuation of the mixtape I did back in the Myspace days.

Maple Systems Road - Hello and Goodbye - I'm focusing on this next after I put out 2014-2019.  Throughout the past number of years I've been creating new MSR material in the background.  This album and potentially a follow-up EP are mostly produced.  I'm working with a couple of other artists on this project.  The pieces still need to be put together but this album is beginning to take shape.  A lot of conceptual stuff has gone into the production of many of the tracks, for example some are based on specific memories, etc.

Beyond these projects I've been slowly putting together a beat shop.

More recently I produced a few tracks for other artists.  I'm also working with a mystery artist on a long awaited release.
