Why do people simp over drawings?

For example if u see a realistic drawing of a human being it would be understandable since it's very close to irl, but with stylized drawings it's much more questionable since it's resembles a somewhat human {and don't get me started on non-humans} but at the same time it doesn't. 

Maybe it's the human-non-human like creation that makes us attracted to such drawings, but until I found the reason as to why imma just leave it there.
