So after my birthday weekend, I am tired.
My friend really hurt my feelings yesterday and I'd like to talk about it.
I went to a farmers market over the weekend and got a sunburn walking around outside.
Only on my face/cheeks, is where the redness is.
So my roommate came home and we were hanging out in the living space and he was like your face is red, and I was like yeah I have a sunburn and he was like "oh I just thought you were drunk" and I was like no sunburn.
Nothing about me yesterday was drunk, and it really offended me.
Like I changed the subject because I was uncomfortable but it's like wtf.
He tried saying he thought I had a thing called Asain Flush, but I'm not Asian.
Anyways it really bothered me that he just assumed that, talk to you guies later.

An Asian flush is when your face becomes flushed in certain areas after drinking alcohol. This is due to blood dilation under the skin which happens due to our immune system reacting on the alcohol. It has nothing to do with being Asian and I don't think your friend meant to offend you.
