the backstory of tori and evie

They are definitely not loosely based on Shirabu and Semi from Haikyuu I literally would never do that. 

Anyways this post has their backstory on since I can't fit it into my screenplay because of the word limit. 

Tori and Evelyn met in high school when they were 16 and 17 respectively. They were both in a singing group called Shiratorizawa, Tori had joined for fun while Evie had joined with the intent with making it big in the music industry. Since they met, they had been good friends, sharing details of their lives they had never shared with anyone else. They shared their first kiss sitting at a piano after everyone else had gone home, Tori had initiated the kiss, before running out and going straight home. They started dating shortly after. They were happy. 
They'd been dating around 6 months when Eve's singing started blowing up on the internet and Tori wanted to be more forthcoming with their relationship. 

Due to Eve's rising popularity as a microcelebrity and her general anxieties and fear of disappointing her friends and family (literally me fr), she said no to coming public. This started a little bit of tension but they were still happy. 

The end of the school year came, Eve left school, moved and started their band. The texts and calls came less and less frequent until one day they died off all together, ending with a new number.  
Tori was heartbroken, and understandably, held a lot of resentment and anger towards Evelyn, who had suppressed their feelings about Tori/ women in general for the sake of their public image. 
They both never expected to see each other but they meet again at the beginning events of my screenplay.
