Do you guess every really struggle with understanding others. I just got a new doc and my first expression isn't the best but everyone keeps telling me to give him a chance, so i am.
On out first meeting he shut down my diagnosis from when i was young that stayed the same till now, and he instantly dismissed it not even looking at my file yet due to not having access. Contradicting and treating me like i don't know what ive been told all my life and like i have a 5 year old brain. childish.
In all honesty it just upset me a bit that he would make such quick guesses without even having all of the facts. It bothers me that he shut down what other docters had to say and acted like he knew more in the 20 min he met me, honestly upsetting.
I'm the one who have read thru my files hundreds of times when you haven't even seen them, just please slow down and listen to what i have to say for a moment, it might be helpful.
