Nostalgia!

Weird isn't it? I haven't even seen this 'MySpace' layout for years and yet it feels like home already.

It somehow feels much more natural, basic and raw than Facebook or even Twitter. All the excessive GUI, Marketing and data harvesting has grown old.

I looked for an app for spacehey and wasn't disappointed when I couldn't find one. It's not for taking over your life. YOU visit the website when it suits YOU rather than the site grasping for every bit of your time and attention with notifications and data harvesting.

I hope this platform stands the test of time and doesn't get drawn into marketing and legal guff too much.

Looking forward to meeting new people and enjoying this great replica!

Mike

I've been wishing for myspace to come back and honestly the fact that another site took over is, to me, the essence of the myspace DIY mindset. Actual myspace has turned into corporate music as well, its closer to twitter than it is to what myspace was.

It's true!

I just hope they manage to keep this one open and original without pummeling it with rubbish.

Thanks for commenting! :)

Like you, I hope that this platform will get all the success that it deserves.
When I saw SpaceHey layout I immediately felt like home, and, really, it's surely more than 10 years that I left my profile over there!
Let's try to keep in touch and spread the word to our friends!

I agree with you. I feel right at home. I mean I was like 12 when myspace was blowing up.

Yeah man! We must be a similar age.

Joining that platform where everyone was nice to each other and promoting their music, videos, business, brand in a friendly community really got me into content creation.

Glad to be back!
