My Dream Last Night ~
I was in the supermarket (specifically Safeway) looking for chia seeds. Both in my dream, and in my real life, I have had a craving for chia pudding- I've never tried it, but it looks SO GOOD!
Anyways, in the dream I was walking up and down all the aisles because I couldn't figure out where the chia seeds would be stored. I couldn't figure out "what they were"- are they a baking item, a breakfast item, a grain- my dream alter ego could not discern the answer.
My cats woke me up from my hellscape of a grocery store dream, luckily.
But I never did find those chia seeds.
Many of my dreams are painfully realistic. Rooted in the mundane.
I've never had one where I could fly, or I was fighting off zombies, or bubble cars existed.
I've gone to the grocery store, got ready for school, got in a car crash, moved into an apartment, etc.
I've had a few that seem more like movies where I'm an observer not a character, but these are anomalies truly.
The coolest thing I've ever done is written poetry in my journal in a dream, I was reading it while writing- but after I finished I flipped through looking for my past pages and they were gone. Then I woke up.
I always dream in color, never black and white.
But I'm curious, are your dreams fanciful or more tied to the bounds of reality?
