Hi, I'm new to this website and overall, new to blogging. I guess this is like a fun new 'myspace'! Unfortunately I wasn't around during this period of time but I'm definitely jealous of those who got to experience the rise of social media and technology.
I don't really know how to use this website so I'm still exploring, if anybody wants to be friends go ahead!! I'm always looking for new friends. :) I promise I'm not as serious over text as I am on this blog. I'm just trying to get into the habit of writing long things with grammar for things like school etc. Anyways, less serious now (still with grammar though lol).
About me:
Hi! My name is Ella but online I usually go by the name Ells. I'm 14 years old and sadly, I live in the UK. I'm currently enrolled in a high school/secondary school and I decided to take Geography, Spanish and Health & Social Care as my GCSE options. I picked these like last week eeee! I'm quite nervous to start my GCSE years and I am still not sure about my decision of GCSE Spanish. I think that I'm more worried about whether I'm going to remember all of the content. I'd say I'm one of the best people in the class at it (not to brag) although the bar is pretty low since nobody else really takes the subject seriously. If anybody has any tips for GCSE Spanish please send!!! The thought of doing my actual GCSE exams makes me anxious and it's getting closer and closer. Even now (Year 9) I still get nervous about the end of term or end of topic tests! I don't have much motivation to revise which isn't very good so if you're like me and want to revise - let me know because I'm sure it will give me some more motivation. At school I'm not popular at all. Well I suppose people know who I am, but not for the right reasons. I suppose I come across as sort of an odd-ball in a British school. I mean, not in other countries because what's wrong with wearing a little bit of eyeliner? It's not like I cake my face in dark makeup, I just do a wing on each eye! Sometimes school is rough because people like to bother me but sometimes if I'm lucky, I can go a full day without being commented on (lol). My favourite science is Biology (even though I'm awful at it), I often daydream during science class. I'd say right now my favourite subject is Geography (if you get rid of physical geography!) but my teacher just did a new seating plan today and moved me right to the back with the awful boys who constantly throw things at my head. I'm too shy to say anything about it though so I just ignore it. Anyways, enough about school. My favourite TV show is Bojack Horseman - not because I can relate to it but because i think it brings about an enticing story and the writers do a great job at making you feel bad for Bojack regardless of all the problems he has caused. Even after everything he's done I still feel like he's a good person (I'm not justifying the things he has done it's just the tactics the writer has used to make you feel) even though he has destroyed so many people. I think it's an interesting take on fame and substance abuse and really touches your heart. That's all for my tangent on Bojack Horseman (I recommend watching it - it's on Netflix but don't watch it if you're easily triggered by some things because it goes on about a lot of sensitive topics).
I wish I could continue this rant but I have to go and have a shower now!
Bye everyone!!
xoxo
