A little about me

I am new to this! I use Facebook all the time but have never really used a platform such as this. My name is Brendan :). I currently live in Southern IL and am from a very small town (less than 7,000 people!) I’m still trying to find my place in this world haha. I’m rather shy and introverted, so it’s been hard for me to make friends. Although I am quiet, I do have a wild side. I love to go to theme parks and travel and sometimes live in the moment. I just don’t have any friends to do that with at the moment!! I am currently in nursing school. I’m hoping to go into the mental health field as a nurse (maybe to help soldiers and vets with PTSD), or to go into pediatrics nursing. I love to read and Stephen King is definitely my favorite author! Music is my life :)...I guess I’m just trying to find people on this sire that want to talk about things that matter :). I’m not sure what will come next! I have grown up in the Midwest but I know I want something more...maybe I’ll move down south. Growing up gay was always hard in a small town. Yes, gay. This is the first time I have said this in a Public plat form. I’m nervous and excited to say it. It hasn’t been easy but I realize if I ever want a chance of happiness or to find a stable relationship someday, I have to be open. So that’s me!! :) feel free to comment, add me, anything!
