Destroying Creations

To create…to destroy.

To create impact one would never see

The want to put it all out there thinking and hoping it will mean something to someone i never met.

What a selfish idea to think someone like me could create a ripple.

To think I could have an impact and create something beautiful.

How selfish of me to even think such a thought.

But if i didn't try wouldn't that be the truly selfish thing to do? 

to not even try.

To not take the chance that what i create would mean something

That would be destroying the words and i art i create before the audience can even decide

Walking off the pages stage before the first note sounds

Selfish…because there's always a chance it could mean something to someone i might never meet

I might destroy my work in my own image but it just might give someone the urge to create. 

If you are that person I do not know… please create. It is not selfish for you to create. It is selfish for you to destroy. I might not believe I can create meaningful things, but I believe you can. 

For you are perfect.
