Family Or Enemies?

I'm a simple person to get along with. Just be nice, don't cause drama, and listen to me when I'm trying to speak about things I'm passionate about or what's going on in my life mentally and physically. In the past with my family, I've been known as the black sheep, the b!tch, and many other things rather than, the daughter, the niece, the cousin, and so on. Finally escaping that life and making one of my own, I've been contemplating a few things that no person should ever contemplate especially when it comes to family. I've left a few of my family members behind because I realized how bad they were for my mental health. The ones I non-verbally told to f*ck off are the ones who stole from me, used me for money, travel, and other things, and some have even used me for a personality. As I said, I'm a simple person to get along with, but people take that as "you're a push over", correction, I'm a controlled b!tch. Got a problem with me, and I'll give you a reason TO have a problem with me. Unfortunately, a family member of mine knows how to bring that out and uses it to her advantage and have used it to black mail me. We barely speak anymore and that may be for the best. Just kinda sucks when you finally get close to someone you barely were around as a child and then have to disappear from them because of how toxic they became...
