like, every time ive had a writing assignment, its about writing an essay. why not have an assignment where u have to write poetry or creative writing? there are probs a bunch of ppl in school who'll never know how much they love poetry until later in life bcz they were never exposed to it!! maybe this is just the writer in me being salty but idk
why are there barely any assignments abt writing poetry in school??

In my school (in germany) we HAVE to write poems at some point lol my classmates AND the teachers hate that topic tho
