2 years ago i was sitting at the bus stop waiting and next to me on the floor was an open pizza box with pizza still inside it. a small, dominos cheese pizza sprinkled with gourmet ants on top, god knows how long it had been there for. i can still picture it clear as day. suddenly, a man walked past yet stopped when his eyes met with the pizza. there was a pause, a tension. until he swept the box off its feet without remorse, grabbing a slice and eating it without a care in the world. i looked around eagerly to see if anyone had witness the act i had witness, the absolute 7:50 performance i had endured. not an eye batted. did he have breakfast that morning? who is to say, but he shall be forever named the man with no shame in my heart
