friendships are bleh

as of recent one of my best friends (F) (3+ years) has begun making other friends. while i see nothing wrong with this the people F has become friends have been quite rude to my group. i also will admit that my group has no issue sending the hostility back to them. anyways, this group i feel has not changed in any way as some of the rude, offensive things they have said were less than a year ago. they have still gone out of their way to be hostile towards one of my friends W, who everyone in the school likes. W is never rude, when they say something that could even remotely hurt someone they immediately appologize. F also posted something on their private story with another persons outfit saying something fairly rude. i did say something to another friend to figure out if i was overthinking, and the friend defended F by using a personal thing, which we both have in common. but the thing we have in common made me take the post in a worse way, making me feel like total shit. hopefully that made sense, but at the same time i dont expect people to really care nor see this, i'm just using this to make myself feel at least a bit better.
