Whats your opinion on the dark knight rises ?[the comic books)

Are we talking about the original Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller?If so it is an absolute classic and without batman would still be seen as goofy and strange. I'm a huge comic book fan but not a batman fan but I know the importance of this book to comics in general.
