I dont like Dr Phil. (or Phil Mcgraw)
His entire show is to “diagnose” people and solve problems. However, hes not a liscensed therapist. From New York Times,” McGraw is exempt from state medical ethics rules, which prevent him from, for example, revealing the identities of his patients because he's not actually a practicing doctor. Though the reality star has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from North Texas State University and was licensed in the state for 20 years, he hasn't been licensed for quite some time. He's also not licensed in California, where he lives and where Dr. Phil is filmed.” Hes only creating more problems and hes quite an asshole. I dont see why he is getting money from this.

He literally villainizes children with mental disorders. And profits off of exploiting and blaming THEM for their issues rather than their parents or environment and calls it "therapy"

^In this link you can watch him get butt-hurt over one of his clients calling the show out for what it is, a grand victim-blaming circus that prioritizes the audience over the client. He literally shuts down completely and immediately gaslights her into thinking she's the one bringing "unwanted" melodrama (when his entire fucking career is built off of melodrama)
Also the so-called "ranch" he sends them to has multiple accusations from children who have been sent there for having physically, sexually and verbally abusive staff I'm pretty sure.

It's really just exposing people's mental problems to the world, stuff that should be solved privately through therapy or other means. He's exploiting vulnerable people that do not know any better to line his own pockets. These people will be given a legacy that will make life after recovery harder than it should be, anything that can be sorted on that stage can be sorted in an office of a therapist, not an audience.
