Energy drinks are for the weak…

Dan and I purchased two cans of the Mountain Dew RISE energy drinks a few days ago as we meandered around a local grocery store and saw a rather sleek looking can sitting on thr top shelf with a geometric lion design stamped on it.

Immune support? Mental BOOST? Enough caffeine to the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee and only 4 grams of sugar?

Alright, I’ll give the Tropical Rise flavor a solid 9/10. Pineapple is always a win, and it tastes like carbonated pineapple juice. I’m awake on this Friday afternoon, and I am laughing at the days 10-15 years ago when I sat in front of the computer (much like now) when I drank the artificially flavored OG Redbull, Monsters, and even 4LOKO 👀 while busting out homework assignments or blogging on MySpace.
