brownies

around noon, i went walking around my neighborhood taking pictures with my polaroid. i think some turned out pretty good.

a co-worker of mine recently called me a hipster in an affectionate & joking way when i mentioned i do instant photography. he said he and his wife have a running joke between them; "hipsters are people who like to make things way more complicated than they need to be", he said.

i laughed because i think he was right. but i don't think that's a hipster thing. i think all of us stand in our own way all the time, not just about film or the best way to make coffee (cold brew). we're our own worst enemy and we know that enemy is unbeatable.

anyway, now i'm making vegan brownies because it's my roommate's birthday.
