this man i’ve had a crush on for FOREVER has recently displayed signs that he too, may have feelings for me. he’s been actively flirting with me, but I won’t allow myself to believe that it’s anything more than that because I don’t want to feel crushed when it turns out i’m wrong. it seems I am reacting in the cliche human way, by building walls to prevent myself from feeling hurt.
with him, i’m in it for the long game. like, I want him to be in my life forever and i’m trying to build a solid foundation of friendship.
I wonder where the universe will lead me. I think about this constantly.
