My Doggi (woof ikr) he's so sweet and kind but he's been sorta lonely since my last dog passed no matter how much love and affection and time we spend with him. what I'm wondering is should i get another dog to keep him company when we're not around?
TLDR; my dog is lonely and im wondering if i should get another doggi to keep him company

I think getting him a new companion is a good idea, but not all dogs will react the same. I think you should try and see if he is open to bringing a new dog home by introducing him to others or even have him help pick. About 2 years ago my family got another companion for my dog after hers passed, and she hates our new dog to this day :/. I hope things will be different for your dog and he can feel less lonely!
Thanks for the response! I definitely need to let him help us pick, because similar to you we've had dogs who have just never liked the other dog in the house but when it comes down to it he's been with me as long as I can remember and all I wish to do is make him comfortable, so thank you so much for this :)
