has anyone ever seen a shadow of a man with a hat when you were little?? i know a couple people that have, and its so weird because i remember it just watching me from the corner of my room but i wasn't sure if i was afraid of it or not. he was just kinda there. I forgot about it for a while, but a tiktok abt it just popped up about it on my fyp.ย
I did some research and apparently he feeds of your energy when your scared, but he doesn't hurt you.

I do remember seeing him just like you guys but from what I read a long time ago on some site, itโs a sign of trauma youโve experienced as a child and it seemed like that figure had its way of comforting you, it makes me sad to think about it :(

Ive had dreams about a hat man but he came with demons into my house, i tried fighting them off, he was the only one who came through the door, he knocked, he was so tall, he had a trench coat and a brief case. I realized later on he was there not for me but for the greed in my family.

I used to live in another apartment in the same complex, it's literally just a walk away from where I currently am.
But when I used to live there, the vibes I got were to an amount that wasn't even functional to live. I am a pretty spiritual person, so I know it wasn't just my imagination or me being paranoid.
One night, I'm home alone (of course I just had to be). I get the courage to finally leave my room so I could fix myself something, I look down the hallway towards my moms room only to see a very tall man in a trench coat and a hat. Although, it was just a very dark shadow. No visible features, just a silhouette. I blink and then poof, he's gone.
It's not even my first experience but it certainly is the most memorable because while being in that apartment, it wasn't only the hat man I saw.

ive seen it, im not sure if its a psychological result or supernatural. i dont remember it much bc i have dissociative amnesia but my mum said i'd see it everywhere though, you are right, it didnt do anything but feed of your fear which is weird. a couple years ago i met a little girl who would also always see it , i thought it was strange.
