I have been using Spotify for like 10 years. Back when they had the starred feature, I'd use it a lot. And even after they got rid of that, the Starred songs became a playlist. And I just keep adding to it.
It's almost like a trip down memory lane. I can remember at what point in my life I added the song and what I was going through. But some of those memories are bad, and that makes me want to start anew. But then i'd lose all the songs. I guess I could pick out the ones I really like and make a new play list. But even then, the memory would still be there.
I think it's cool and annoying how music can be so intertwined with memories. Because some songs have definitely been ruined for me because of it.

Oh definitely, music is like travelling in time, in a way. When it comes to my own personal playlists, I usually make a new one every 3-6 months or so. otherwise it gets overwhelming and hard to handle. My official curated playlists simply go by genres/vibes and are updated weekly so that's game. Either way, The Dangerous Summer are awesome! haha
