's' muet, 'e' se dit 'i'
She woke up
Elle se rendort.
It felt like a breakup.
Elle s'en sort.
Or she believed she did.
Mais elle avait tord.
She tried. She failed.
She sucked. She bailed.
Elle abandonna.
Mais les 's', eux, ne se prononcent pas.
Comme elle, muette, ne se prononce pas.
she - he.
But 'e' makes an 'i' sound.
Like how she, never stops being shy.
elle - il.
Elle, she,
Il, he,
and she lived.
Or he did.

>> that poem helped me go through sm things. Being trans in a country that speaks a higly gendered language isnt the easiest for me or the other trans people who have to go through further misgendering.>> everything has to be gendered. You, animals, sounds, objects, concepts... i always had a hard time understanding that concept. why are tables girls? why is the concept of missing something a guy? >> learning english made me realise so much; i can live in a world where evrything could and can be equal, no girl tables or guy couches. a world wherei could be me.>> i still think french is beautiful and has so much more dephts and literacy, but it doesnt give the same effect. you cant achieve as much things as english can. they should therefore coexist, imo. being around bilingual people and learning another language is one of the most eye opening experience ive ever had, and im grateful for that. i love being unapologetically trans, and unapologetically me, no matter which way you translate it.
>> thank you for reading. :)
