instead of finishing my homework I present to you:

you probably know this one already, but you can look at any site from any point in its existence. Be careful with flash, which brings me to...
not perfect yet, works for flash 1&2 (pre-2006) but not quite for flash 3. can be installed as a browser extension (follow site instructions) or as software.
lots of 2000s era barbie.com games as well as nickelodeon, cartoon network, disney and more can be played on here. a lot have been converted to html so you won't have to use flash.
just an adorable relic of a website that is also kind of a rabbit hole. based around tarot, angels, fairies and more. very cute and wholesome.
Neopets is still around, but it looks a little different.
so is Newgrounds. they have their own flash software, which i personally haven't been able to get working yet.
